Five from Branch County make MHSFCA All-Region Teams

BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan High School Football Coaches Association has announced its 2023 All-Region Teams, spanning all eight divisions in 11-player football and both 8-player divisions. Branch County has five total representatives on this year’s list.

Four players from Union City made the Division 7 Region 2 First Team: offensive lineman Gavin Kelly, defensive lineman Caden Hughes, linebacker Owen Jackson, and defensive back Riley Laird.

Quincy offensive lineman Max Barve was named to the Division 6 Region 2 First Team.
