ROCHESTER, MI (WTVB) – Three members of the Coldwater girls varsity swim and dive team traveled to Oakland University this past weekend to compete at the M.H.S.A.A. Division Three State meet.
Charlotte Calhoun qualified in seventh place and hovered around the top five during her first eight dives on Friday, finishing the day in fourth. Calhoun performed her last three dives on Saturday to finish the day in fifth place.
This is the highest finish for any Cardinal swimmer or diver ever at the M.H.S.A.A. Finals. This is also the second year in a row for Calhoun to finish with all-state honors.
Bri Barle competed in the Paralympic 50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle events. She won both events with career best times in both races.
Sienna Losinski swam on Friday in the 50 Freestyle preliminaries. She was seeded 45th and finished the day moving up four spots to 41st place.
Coldwater finished tied for 26th place out of 45 teams in the state.
