COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Marshall Community Credit Union invested time and resources earlier this month to renovate a room at the Beech House which is the former Putnam Funeral Home in downtown Coldwater.
On Saturday, November 4th, two Coldwater branch team members alongside Chief Executive Officer Corrie Rozell helped complete the renovations in the dining room.
Coldwater Community Center Board President Kathie Bappert said, “Between painting supplies and estimated labor, MCCU donated over $2,000 to this project.”
The Coldwater Community Center, Inc. was officially incorporated as a non-profit organization in July of 2022 and took its first steps toward transforming the historical building into a multicultural community center. The City of Coldwater granted a lease for restoration last November which was recently renewed for three years.
