COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The annual Coldwater Christmas Parade is scheduled to take place Saturday night starting at 7:30 p.m..
This year’s theme is “Silver Screen Christmas”. The Parade Grand Marshal will be former Coldwater Mayor and longtime community supporter Jerry Ford.
Awards will be presented for the best floats. The awards are Buddy Elf for most spirited or energetic, the Major Award which will be the judges’ choice and the Miracle on Chicago Street award for best use of theme.
Organizers are asking those planning to be in the parade to get their registrations in as the lineup will go out on Thursday night. Last year’s parade attracted 24 units and more are expected on Saturday night.
The route will be the same as in previous years starting at U.S. 12 and Hudson and heading west through the downtown area.
