COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – One of four persons arrested last May following a Branch County Sheriff’s Department stolen property investigation at a Grass Lake Road property entered into a plea bargain agreement with prosecutors on Monday in Circuit Court.
25-year-old Ashlyn Fowle entered a guilty plea to a charge of receiving and concealing stolen property between $1,000 and $20,000. A second count was dismissed by prosecutors in exchange for her plea.
She is scheduled to be sentenced on January 29, 2024.
The arrests came after the Sheriff’s Department said they got information of a stolen ATV from Steuben County being located on the Grass Lake Road property.
They eventually recovered a stolen Polaris Ranger ATV out of Steuben County along with a stolen John Deere Tractor out of Hillsdale County. They also found two handguns along with what were described as a large amount of methamphetamine and marijuana that had a street value of $30,000.
