BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – A Branch County high school bowling season got underway on Monday as teams from Quincy and Bronson were in action.
Quincy opened its season at Niles Brandywine as they split the Varsity matches and won the JV mixed match.
Quincy won the boys match 18-12 as they rallied from a ten point deficit following baker play. The Orioles won the singles by an overall total of 926-754.

Brandywine won the girls match 16 ½ to 13 ½. The Quincy girls took baker 1 but dropped baker 2 and overall by 4 pins. In singles action Quincy scored with:

Quincy won the JV 27-3. Quincy took all baker points with scores of 107 and 135. Scoring for the Orioles in their singles games were:

The Bronson boys team defeated Kalamazoo Hackett 18-12. Hackett won the JV boys match over Bronson 26-4.
