COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council is scheduled on Monday night to set a public hearing for January 22, 2024 on the city’s new five year recreational Master Plan.
The proposed plan would run from 2024 until 2029 and builds upon a previous plan.
Local citizens provided input for the proposed plan during an online survey that was conducted between July 26 and October 1.
The proposed 43-page plan can be found in Monday’s City Council packet which has been posted at www.coldwater.org.
City Planner and Neighborhood Services Director Jake VanBoxel say the Planning Commission is expected to approve the Plan at its January 15 meeting and the Recreation Board is expected to approve it when they meet on January 4.
The City Council will consider adopting the Plan after the January 22 public hearing. VanBoxel says this schedule will give the public 42 days to view the proposed Plan and offer feedback.
So? They will change the plan at the drop of a hat for a buck anyway. The “retirement villa going in next to me is nothing like they told us when we backed off. They say wantever you want to hear and change it as soon as
you are gone.
