COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – There has been a lot of talk recently about the reduced visibility of westbound U.S. 12 traffic for those drivers pulling out from Willow Lane and Lucky Drive in the Pilot Knob neighborhood.
The situation came about following the Michigan Department of Transportation U.S. 12 bridge restoration and sidewalk improvement project.
Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker said during Monday’s City Council meeting they have been in contact with MDOT engineers.
Council Member John Petzko has gotten complaints about how the road was lined.
Baker said MDOT is looking into it.
The $2-point-4 million project on the bridge over the Coldwater River affected traffic on the west side of Coldwater for about six months.

The bridge looks nice and after 2.4 million dollars and about 6 months work. Indiana put in 3 bridges in 3 months for 1.8 million this summer but who’s counting.
