MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Varsity Bowlers traveled to Marshall Lanes on Saturday to compete in the Annual Red Hawk Scotch Doubles Tournament.
Each doubles team bowled a 4 game qualifying block. Out of 29 doubles teams, Coldwater had two teams qualify in the top eight and move on to match play.
Lily Cook and Kameron Corwin qualified first with a four game total of 738, while the team of Ema Shidler and Kristian Yearling qualified sixth with a score of 660.
Cook and Corwin made it to the Championship match, losing out to a team from Hastings 164 to 154.
Shidler and Yearling finished in 6th place.
Alexis Wood and Brady Hawver finished 12th. Madison Kling and Kahle Weis finished 14th. Kylie Cook and Lennon Swick finished 16th while
Madison Shuler and Zach Robison finished 21st.
