Peggy Lynn Nameth, 51, of Coldwater passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
A memorial visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Immediately following the visitation, a Celebration of Life, Dinner, and Music will be held at the Coldwater Eagles, and all are welcome to come to help the family celebrate the life of Peggy.
Peggy was born June 30, 1972, to Joseph and Constance (Burt) Nameth in Lincoln Park, MI. Peggy was the former owner/operator of Prop Blast and was a waitress at Jeannie’s Diner for over 10 years.
She enjoyed dancing, boating, music, especially attending concerts. She also enjoyed traveling to Put-In-Bay, and spending time with her sons. Peggy loved getting a ride on the back of a Harley anytime she could.
Peggy is survived by the love of her life, Michael Odren of Coldwater; her children Austin (Jade Malovey) Nameth of Coldwater, Luke (Elisha Elkins) Loewengruber of Girard; and James Dignan of Macomb, MI; her parents Joseph Nameth of the Detroit area, and Constance Nameth of Coldwater; her siblings Shirl (David Weber) Schelevitz of Coldwater and Joseph Nameth, Jr. of Coldwater; her niece Brittany Schelevitz of Trenton, MI; her nephew Jeffrey Schelevitz of Taylor, Mi; the father of her children, Austin and Luke, Keith Loewengruber; her great niece Sadie Schelevitz; her great nephew Chase Owens; and her cat Harley.
Peggy was preceded in death by her grandmother Frances Muriel Burt, grandfather Robert Cecil Burt, Sr., grandmother Julia Nemeth, grandfather James Nemeth, and James Dignan (father of her youngest son James)
Memorials may be directed to the family for funeral expenses.
