COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners approved this year’s Standing Board Rules during their first regular meeting of 2024 this past Tuesday.
County Administrator Bud Norman says one change calls for those who wish to comment to the Board to stand at the podium so they can be heard.
Under A.D.A. requirements, accommodations will be made for those who want to speak but are unable to go the podium because they are handicapped.
The Commissioners also approved a one year employment contract agreement with Branch County Memorial Airport Manager Joe Best.
The agreement calls for a salary increase to $18,000. Funds for the increase will be taken from the current Airport budget.
