BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy won their first game of the season on Thursday night as they defeated Union City 61-33 in a Big 8 Conference game at the Coolest Gym in Michigan.
Alyssa McCavit scored a game-high 19 points for the Orioles while Kendyl Musielewiez had 15 points and Danika Skirka added 11 points.
Jordan Chard led Union City with 11 points while Addy Rumsey had eight points.
The Orioles are 1-8 overall while the Chargers dropped to 1-10. Both teams are 1-3 in the Big 8.
Meanwhile, Bronson dropped their first game of the season on Thursday night as they lost at Stockbridge 64-50 in a non-conference contest.
The Vikings are 7-1 overall.
