BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – With the cold spell expected to stretch into Sunday, the City of Bronson has extended its “Run Water Advisory”.
The advisory for City of Bronson water customers is now in effect through Sunday.
Customers are being advised by the city to continue running a small stream of water from a water faucet in your home or business approximately 1/4 inch diameter in order to prevent water service from freezing.
The bathtub is a good place to do this as it is less likely to be turned off.
The advisory may change with the weather forecast.
City Manager Brandon Mersman says billing adjustments may be made on a case-by-case basis and will be based on previous water usage.
