BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Temperatures may have gotten warmer after last week’s deep freeze but more bad weather is in the forecast.
Branch County is included in a Winter Weather Advisory which in effect from 7:00 p.m. Monday evening until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
Forecasters say freezing rain is expected with ice accumulations in excess of a quarter of an inch possible in portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan and northwest Ohio.
Difficult travel conditions are possible with hazardous travel expected on Tuesday morning.
Ice accumulations in excess of a quarter of an inch are possible, especially northwest of a line from Monticello to Warsaw to Hillsdale.
You’re being asked to slow down and use caution while traveling and be prepared for possible power outages.
