COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – What has been a staple for the agriculture community in Branch County for over 50 years returns on Monday, February 19.
The 55th edition of Branch County Farmers Day will be held at the Branch Area Careers Center in Coldwater on President’s Day.
MSU Extension in southwest Michigan will be offering educational sessions to farmers, agribusiness representatives and community members between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.
The cost of this program is free. Farmers Day is sponsored by MSU Extension and Branch County Agri Business Council.
In addition, there will be a separate pesticide applicator training session in the afternoon.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced organizers to cancel the Farmers Day events in 2021 and 2022 that were scheduled to be held at the Careers Center. Alternative educational sessions for farmers and agribusiness representatives were held instead.
