OVID TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A motorcyclist from Ohio suffered minor leg injuries on Wednesday afternoon when he crashed at the entrance to the Coldwater Welcome Center on northbound I-69.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says 52-year-old Christopher Marker of Lima, Ohio was entering the Welcome Center at about 2:35 p.m. when he hit the curb, lost control and laid the motorcycle down.
In turn, it landed on top of him. Marker was transported to Promedica Coldwater Regional Hospital by LifeCare Ambulance for treatment of his injuries.
The Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the crash.
The Lakeland Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance provided assistance.
