COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners will meet with a pair of Michigan recruitment agencies during their work session on March 7 as the search begins for a new County Administrator.
Bud Norman announced last month he would be retiring when his contract runs out at the end of the year.
Commission Chair Tim Stoll said he received proposals from three recruitment agencies but he pointed out the fees from one that was from outside of Michigan were substantially higher.
The Commissioners agreed to meet virtually with representatives from the Michigan Municipal League and the Michigan Leadership Institute.
Interviews are anticipated to start in June with Commissioners tentatively scheduled to conduct final interviews in August.
The hiring of a new administrator is scheduled to take place in October.
