Oscar Blair Jr., 87, of Coldwater passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 at The Laurels of Coldwater.
There will be no service or calling hours at this time for Oscar Blair Jr. Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
He was born on September 3, 1936 in Coldwater to Oscar O. and Katherine M. (Starbuck) Blair.
Oscar served his country in the Army National Guard. He retired from Quality Springs after 18 years of employment.
Oscar enjoyed fishing, gardening, mushroom hunting, coin collecting and making can tin men. In his earlier years, he was an avid bowler. He also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Oscar is survived by one daughter, Pam (Doug) Sexton of Bronson; two sons, Steven (Cheryl) Blair of Coldwater, Kyle Blair of Colon; one sister, Sharon Young of Coldwater; three brothers, Harley (Sharon) Blair of Quincy, Dennis Blair of Union City, Loren Eugene Blair of California; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and his companion of over 40 years, Wonetta Roeser of Coldwater.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Michelle Blair; two brothers, Willie Blair, Gerald Blair; one sister, Rosemary Paul and the mother of his children, Annis M. (Risner) Blair.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Humane Society of the donor’s choice.
