BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – After coming out of a brief retirement last summer to accept the position of Bronson Junior/Senior High School Principal, Kristina Crabill is retiring for good at the end of this school year.
The Bronson Board of Education formally accepted Crabill’s letter of resignation/retirement on Monday night.
She joined the Bronson district last August with the intent to retire permanently after this school year. Crabill previously served as a principal at a third through fifth grade elementary school in Jonesville.
She took over for John Herbert who left the district last June to pursue an opportunity in the ministry field.
Crabill has been in education since 1999. She has worked in the Bronson, Sturgis and Jonesville school districts during her career.
Bronson Superintendent Kris Wall says, “Kris graciously agreed to step in last summer when we needed a new leader at the Jr/Sr High School. She’s established systems that lay a strong foundation for the future.”
Crabill will serve through the remainder of this school year. A search for the new principal will begin immediately.
