COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Community Schools Board of Education approved a recommendation Monday night to purchase and implement a new website platform through Apptegy.
The initial cost is not to exceed $20,600 and there will be a yearly fee of $15,600.
Administrators felt the district’s website platform was in need of updating before the current format becomes obsolete.
Apptegy is a website development company out of Little Rock, Arkansas which will maintain the online platform and includes an app for users to access information directly on their personal devices.
It’s felt the app feature will allow administrators to easily share highlights and news to various social media platforms.
In other business, after holding an executive session to conduct a periodic personnel evaluation, the school board gave Superintendent Paul Flynn an “effective” evaluation rating.
He took over as the district Superintendent last July after Terry Ann Whelan retired.
