MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – Marshall Community Credit Union will continue celebrating youth members during the month of April.
Youth Month encourages individuals up to age 17 to develop good financial habits through education and instilling a savings mindset.
MCCU Financial Education Specialist Laura Van Dyke says, “Our mission is focused on providing financial education to all members. By providing rewards through engaging promotions, we encourage our youngest members to build rapport with their primary financial institution, provide education on how to form healthy financial habits, and work to build a healthy relationship with money.”
MCCU youth members will receive incentives throughout April when they make a deposit, open a new savings account or a new checking account.
Last year, MCCU provided nearly $3,000 in combined rewards to its youth members during Youth Month.
