UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Union City Police say a 30-year-old man was taken into custody on Thursday after a short one mile chase which ended when the suspect’s fleeing vehicle crashed at M-60 and 9 Mile Road.
The man was treated for minor injuries and transported from the scene by Marshall Ambulance. Police say two dogs in the car were unharmed and released to a third party.
Union City Police were assisted by the Burlington Fire Department, the Marshall Ambulance, the Michigan State Police and the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi Tribal Police.
