BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The City of Bronson is submitting an application to a Michigan Department of Natural Resources trust fund to help finance the Non-motorized Trail Development Project.
The Bronson City Council approved a resolution last Monday in support of the application after a Public Hearing was held during a special City Council meeting.
The purpose of the Public Hearing was to receive public comments on the grant application.
The project will include construction of a new non-motorized trail along the former Northeastern Rail Line that runs through the northern portion of the City from Albers Road to Cronkhite Vault Services Inc. on Industrial Avenue in order to create pedestrian connectivity which is felt to be lacking in the area.
