ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – An Angola man is facing five charges of being in possession of child pornography following an investigation by the Indiana State Police.
21-year-old Caleb Perry was arrested after the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force started a criminal investigation last October when they got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding an online account that had been used to store and share child pornography.
After reviewing the results of the investigation, the Steuben County Prosecutor’s office issued a search warrant for Perry’s residence. Officers from various agencies served the warrant on March 28, 2024.
The State Police say multiple electronic devices were seized from the residence and Perry was taken into custody without incident. They say the investigation is still active.
