LITCHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Two persons suffered non-life threatening injuries on Tuesday night in a Hillsdale County crash that the Michigan State Police believe was alcohol-related.
Troopers from the Jackson post say it happened at about 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Litchfield and Rainey Roads.
According to the State Police, a SUV driven by a 46-year-old from Potterville was traveling east on Litchfield Road and tried to turn north on Rainey Road when it struck a truck head on that was traveling west.
The westbound vehicle was driven by a 49-year-old from Adrian.
Troopers report the at-fault driver was transported to Hillsdale Hospital while the occupant from the truck was taken to Henry Ford Hospital.
The State Police were assisted on scene by the Litchfield Police, the Reading Emergency Unit and fire departments from Litchfield and Jonesville.
