THREE RIVERS, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater girls softball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader at Three Rivers on Thursday by scores of 7-5 and 17-2.
Three Rivers trailed 5-4 in the bottom of the sixth inning of the first game before Ava Forman belted a three run homer which was her second big fly of the contest.
Rylie Van Aken had three RBI’s for the Cardinals while Mya Porter had three hits.
The Wildcats’ offense exploded in the second game with five runs in each of the first two innings and seven runs in the third as they collected 16 hits.
Maddie Moore had two of the six hits for Coldwater.
