Nancee Lee Brewer, 87, of Coldwater passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Drews Place of Coldwater under the care of Oaklawn Hospice.
A memorial visitation will be held of Friday, May 3, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
A graveside service will take place at 11:30 a.m. at East Gilead Cemetery with Pastor Rachel
She was born on September 19, 1936 in Albion to Glen and Marian (Tooley) Lake. Nancee married Harold “Fuzz” Brewer Jr. on May 2, 1959 and he preceded her in death in 2010.
Nancee graduated from Albion High School. She was employed at GE Telephone Company and was later a Librarian at the Branch County Library in Coldwater.
She was a member of the Quincy American Legion and the Bronson Dance Club, where she enjoyed square dancing. Nancee collected salt and pepper shakers and loved crocheting.
Nancee is survived by one sister, Janice Roush of Colorado; special family friends, Carrie (Allen) Stout of Fremont, IN, David (Chris) Robey of Coldwater, Jon (Kristen) Robey of Coldwater, Scott (Tammy) Robey of Coldwater; several nieces and nephews and many grand and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Fuzz, Nancee was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Darel Ott and one sister, Jane Vandeneede.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Oaklawn Hospice.
