It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey A. Streets, who left us peacefully April 30, 2024, at his home in Coldwater, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be held at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater Monday, May 6, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., preceded by a gathering for friends and family from 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Born on November 15, 1961, to Donald and Charleen (Folk) Streets, Jeff was a lifelong resident of Coldwater. He married the love of his life, Michele Herman, on January 11, 1992.
Jeff’s early work included roles at his parents’ business, H&S Supply, as well as at Kroger and JC Penny during his high school years. After graduating from college, he proudly served in the United States Navy, completing three tours in the Persian Gulf.
Following his honorable discharge after ten years of dedicated service, he returned to H&S Supply before embarking on a rewarding 20-year career as a correctional officer at Lakeland Correctional Facility, retiring in July 2021.
Jeff was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his time traveling with his family, especially to warm beaches. He enjoyed making lasting memories on the lake with family and friends and had a passion for motorcycles.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Michele Streets; children, Tyler Streets of Saginaw, MI, and Kasey Streets of Denver, CO; parents, Donald and Charleen Streets; sister, Vicki (Dan) Lyon of Phoenix, AZ; and his cherished grandchildren, Leyton and Jude Streets.
Jeff was preceded in death by his brother, Doug Streets.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Branch County.
