GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings went 3-1 on Saturday at the Northview Girls Softball Invitational.
The Vikings defeated Catholic Central 11-0, Kenowa Hills 16-3 and Cedar Springs 8-2 while losing to the host team 8-4.
Ashlynn Harris was the winning pitcher against Catholic Central while Mya Webb got the wins against Kenowa Hills and Cedar Springs.
Ciara Blankenship, Lydia Wells, Braelynn Gimenez had all triples against Catholic Central.
Delanee Carpenter drove in three runs against Kenowa Hills. Harris had a triple and two RBIS’s. Wells had three hits and drove in two runs.
Harris had three hits against Northview while Blankenship had two RBI’s.
Kailynne Scare had three hits against Cedar Springs. Braelyn Lasky had two doubles. Wells and Carpenter each drove in two runs.
With three wins, Bronson improved its overall record to 14-8.
