The Branch Area Careers Center recently celebrated its 64th annual OJT and Outstanding Senior Banquet Tuesday, April 30. The annual dinner highlights the On the Job Training (OJT) students and their employers, as well as the Seniors of the Year from each of the 15 programs at the BACC.
They say the partnership with business and industry and BACC staff help make the Branch Area Careers Center one of the leading schools in Career and Technical Education in the state of Michigan.
Current OJT students serve as hosts for the evening and introduce the special speakers and give out the employer awards. Students take the opportunity to honor the employers and businesses that continually support the students at the BACC.
The accomplishments and achievements of each student were detailed as they were awarded their Senior of the Year certificate. Many local school officials were present for the dinner and program. Branch ISD school board members and superintendent were also in attendance.
