SPRINGPORT, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy track teams both scored a pair of wins on Monday in a triangular meet at Springport.
Meanwhile, the Bronson boys were dealt a pair of close losses while the Vikings split in the girls meet.
Quincy’s boys defeated Springport 70-67 and Bronson 78-59. The Vikings also lost to Springport 74-63.
Quincy winners were Noah Rufenacht (high jump) and Alex Dunn (long jump)
Bronson winners were Tyler Wilber (400 and 1600), Boston Bucklin (800) and Jack Ganton (3200). The Vikings got wins in the 1600 relay (Stevie Wilson, Wilber, Bucklin and Kamern Bracket and the 3200 relay (Wilber, Ganton, Jovani Ramos and Bucklin).
The Quincy girls defeated Springport 101-30 and Bronson 92-42. Bronson defeated Springport 58-28.
Quincy winners were Kendyl Musielewicz (800), Katharina Paschke (1600), Raylee Fulton (3200), Brookelyn Parker (100 hurdles and 300 hurdles) and Brooke McVicker (pole vault). Quincy won the 800 relay (Elizabeth Craig, Isabella Marske, Teagan Payne and Kali Kugler), the 1600 relay (Craig, Musielewicz, Parker and Cheyenne Marske) and the 3200 relay (Sadie Miller, Raylee Fulton, Paschke and Musielewicz).
Bronson winners were Jaiden Hayes (100 and long jump) and Itzel Albarran (400). Bronson won the 400 relay thanks to the team of Albarran, Addison Calloway, Miriam Sanchez and Hayes.
