Coldwater ties for 2nd at Interstate 8 meet, Cowles and Hawver win conference titles

BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The season came to an end for the Coldwater Girls tennis team on Monday as they finished in a second place tie with Harper Creek at the Interstate 8 Conference championship meet.

Parma Western nailed down the conference title with a first place finish.

Coldwater’s Julianna Cowles won the I-8 championship at number two singles and Claire Hawver won her flight at number three singles.

Kinley Brown and Alexis Wood finished in second place at number three doubles.
