NAPOLEON, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Orioles girls softball team got a doubleheader sweep at Napoleon on Thursday night.
Quincy won the first game 5-4 thanks to a RBI single in the top of the seventh Soraya Schrock.
Napoleon loaded the bases in the last of the seventh but were unable to score.
Mailkiya Feltner had two hits and two RBI’s for the Orioles. Payton Gross had three hits. Danika Skirka was the winning pitcher as she went the distance and allowed just two earned runs.
Quincy won the second game 6-1. Hannah Brown went the distance in the circle to get the win as she allowed one run on three hits while striking out five.
Feltner, Gross, Miley Poindexter all had two hits. Deziray Skirka singled and doubled. Danika Skirka and Josie Mescher both doubled. Kaylee Modert added a single.
