Gordon Carl Sikorski, 87, of Coldwater passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
A memorial mass will be held Monday, June 3, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Coldwater with Rev. Fr. Dan Hyman officiating.
The family will receive guests for visitation Friday, May 31, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater, with a rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m..
He was born May 27, 1936 to Ambrose and Jane (Pierucki) Sikorski in Bronson, MI. Gordon was a Bronson High School graduate and on October 15, 1957 he married Clara Mae Carpenter in Bronson and she survives.
He was faithful man that valued hard work and providing for his family; Gordon began his working career at Darling in Coldwater and Bronson Specialties until their closings where he then transitioned to Kirsch Company in Sturgis ultimately retiring after many dedicated years of service as a tool and die maker.
Gordon was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Coldwater and enjoyed puzzles, reading, and bike riding.
Cherishing his family above all else, Gordon loved nothing more than to watch his children’s, grandchildren’s, and great grandchildren’s sporting events alongside his beloved wife Clara Mae. He will be dearly missed as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
In addition to his wife Clara Mae Sikorski of Coldwater, Gordon leaves behind his children Rebecca (Kevin) Rocho of Boiling Springs, SC, Jayne (Maynard) Harris of Coldwater; his daughter-in-law Angeline Sikorski of Ft. Wayne, IN; his brother Andy (Nadine) Sikorski of Colon; his grandchildren Ryan Rocho, Matthew (Candi) Harris, Jonas Rocho, David Sikorski, Carly Rocho, Tyler (Janelle) Harris, Sarah Jane (Patrick) Slusser, Abigail Harris, Gabrielle Harris; 12 great grandchildren and his many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Tony Sikorski, his sister Janice Smoker, and his brother-in-law Bob Smoker.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Branch Area Food Pantry.
