COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Renovation work at the Branch County Courthouse has gotten underway.
Administrator Bud Norman said during last Thursday’s County Commissioner work session that work would begin at the County Clerk’s office.
The courtrooms in the courthouse will also be renovated later this summer.
While the renovation is taking place in the Clerk’s office, appointments will be necessary to do business in that office through June 14 by calling (517) 279-4306 or e-mailing Countyclerk@countyofbranch.com.
Renovation work is scheduled for the Branch County Courthouse, the Courthouse Annex, the Health Department and the Department of Health and Human Services.
The Branch County Board of Commissioners allocated $3 million of the county’s ARPA funds for the work.
