COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council formally approved an offer on Monday night to buy two vacant parcels of land on Pheasant Run Drive from David and Monica Lowder who want to build two homes on the property.
The transaction was introduced at the May 13th Council meeting and under terms of the city charter had to sit on the table for 30 days before final action could be taken.
The Lowder’s offer is $15,000 per parcel for a total of $30,000. The property was acquired by the City from the Michigan Department of Treasury.
The City also completed a quiet title action of the property on August 4, 2023.
The Lowders own and operate Lowder Enterprises, LLC which is doing business as Alliance Home Builders and Alliance Spray Foam. They have built several homes in the neighborhood.
