BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan State University Extension Service weather station at the Bloom Dairy Farm wound up measuring almost four inches of rain (3.98) for the month of June which brought the amount of rain since the first of April to almost 12 inches.
The weather station west of Coldwater measured 4.63 inches for May and 4.06 inches in April.
While there were just nine days of rain in June, there were four days when at least a half inch of rain was measured.
The weather station measured 2.38 inches of rain during the last week of June including 87-hundreths on Saturday.
The amount of rain measured in June was about a half inch above normal.
