QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – With Christy Berry stepping down from the Quincy Village Council on June 19 because she moved out of the village, letters of interest from individuals interested in filling the open position are now being accepted.
The appointed person will complete a term that expires in November.
The Village Council meets twice per month, the first Tuesday of the month for a workshop and the third Tuesday of the month for the council meeting.
Special meetings may be required on an occasional basis. Anyone interested in serving must be a village resident.
A board application must be submitted by Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 5:00 p.m..

The Village Council will interview each interested individual at its regularly scheduled meeting on July 16, 2024 starting at 5:30 p.m..
As a reminder, anyone interested in running for a Village Council Trustee position in the upcoming elections, have until July 18, 2024 to turn in petitions to the Township Clerk.
