COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It didn’t take long for gas prices to recover from the protracted Independence Day holiday hikes across the state.
In its daily canvassing of fueling centers, AAA Michigan’s statewide average as of this morning stood at $3.56 a gallon, which is a nickel above the national mean of $3.51. Major market prices ranged from $3.48 in Marquette to $3.68 in Jackson.
Adrienne Woodland with the Auto Club in Dearborn indicated that the current level is a dime below that of last Tuesday, but 12 cents higher than June 9, and eight cents more than was motorists were paying this time in 2023.
Tuesday morning prices ranged from $3.44 to $3.49 per gallon around Coldwater., with similar prices at gas stations in Bronson and Quincy.
