BRONSON TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A 24-year-old Bronson man is in custody after leading police on a chase following an attempted traffic stop.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says deputies attempted to stop the vehicle driven by Reece Alain Prough in Gilead Township around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. They say he sped away, with the pursuit traveling through several townships in the county.
The pursuit ended at a residence off of Holmes Road in Bronson Township. Prough was placed into custody for Fleeing and Eluding Police. He also had several warrants for his arrest.
He was lodged at the Branch County Jail.
