COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County is busy drying out, after remnants of Hurricane Beryl dumped a tremendous amount of water on southern lower Michigan.
At the end of the 24 hour period ending late Wednesday afternoon, the website raindrop.farm says the City of Coldwater received 4.03 inches of rain. Just south of the city on Old 27, the measurement was 4.65 inches.
Other areas of the county received less rain, with 3.29 inches measured by the website in Bronson, 3.08 inches in Quincy, and 2.29 inches in Union City.
It was nice kayaking in Walmart’s parking lot.
I think the Big Lots parking lot near Home Depot was just as bad.
