BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson School Board of Education filled a pair of vacancies on Monday night as they approved the hiring of Trevor Ferry as the District Safety & Security Liaison and Daniel McMichael as the Bronson Junior/Senior High School Dean of Students.
Ferry and McMichael are both Bronson High School graduates.
Ferry graduated from Bronson in 2005 and from Western Michigan University in 2009.
Ferry has served as a resident coordinator with the Kalamazoo Probation Enhancement Program in Battle Creek. He has also worked for Children Protective Services and as a probation and parole agent.
Ferry’s wife Elaine is a counselor at Anderson Elementary. The couple has four children.
McMichael graduated from Bronson High School in 2016. He then went to Adrian College where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies and English Education.
McMichael also has a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University.
McMichael has been a social studies teacher and baseball coach at Bronson High School.
