BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – It’s one of the biggest summer time events in Branch County. The 54th Bronson Polish Festival starts Thursday and will run through Saturday, July 20.
Polish food will be available at various Bronson locations starting at 11:00 a.m. Thursday.
Festival President Candy Cox says the Opening Ceremonies and Kick-off will take place Thursday night in the St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church Gym starting at 6:30 p.m.
The evening will include the crowning of the Polish Festival King and Queen. Randy Hyska and Sandy Pitts were named King and Queen last year.
A Kiwanis pancake breakfast at the Bronson Fire Station, Kids Day activities at Douglas Park and a free magic show in the library parking lot will highlight the Friday schedule.
Now that golf carts are legal in Bronson, they will be featured during Saturday’s Festival Parade which starts at 1:00 p.m..
