OVID TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A portion of Old U.S. 27 north of Kinderhook had to be shut down for about an hour Thursday morning following a two vehicle crash.
Rescue crews responded at about 10:30 a.m. to the intersection of Old 27 and Pearl Road.
One vehicle wound up on its top. No serious injuries were reported.
The Lakeland Fire Department, Life Care Ambulance and the Branch County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the crash.
It was the second crash police and firefighters had to respond to on Thursday morning.
A motorcyclist complained of road rash and leg pain after hitting a deer in 300 block of West Hayner Road at about 6:45 a.m..
