COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Interviews will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday with six candidates who have made the first cut in their bid to replace the retiring Bud Norman as Branch County Administrator.
The Branch County Board of Commissioners voted to select the six from a total of 38 candidates that applied on July 11.
The interviews on Tuesday will start at 12 noon. Scheduled to be interviewed on Tuesday are Lakeland Correctional Facility administrative manager John Morrell, former Oakland Township manager Adam Kline and Caledonia village manager Jeffrey Thornton.
Scheduled to be interviewed on Wednesday morning starting at 9:00 a.m. are assistant St. Joseph County administrator Jessica Miller, assistant Manatee County, Florida administrator Robert Reinshuttle and Meridian Township manager Frank Walsh.
Each candidate will be interviewed for 50 minutes. It’s expected the top one to three candidates will be brought back for a final discussion-style interview.
Norman will be retiring as Branch County Administrator on December 31, 2024.
