GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WTVB) – A Branch County native has been promoted by Junior Achievement.
They recently announced Laura Lutterbeck accepted the promotion to Chief Operating Officer with Junior Achievement of the Michigan Great Lakes.
Lutterbeck spent the past six years as a J.A. district director.
With the promotion, Lutterbeck will move to the company headquarters in Grand Rapids.
She will lead a team of staff, as well as manage the daily operations of the organization and various district offices.
“In her time with JA, Laura has demonstrated the ability to perform at a level that will benefit our organization at the COO role,” said Bill Coderre, President and
CEO, JA of the Michigan Great Lakes. “This promotion as well as the hiring of new staff members will position JA to be the chosen partner of educators in the region as it relates to financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work and career readiness programming in schools.”
With Lutterbeck being promoted, Evan McCoy has been hired as the new district director.
