STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – An 18-year-old male was killed Saturday morning in a two vehicle crash at a intersection just south of Sturgis.
The Sturgis Department of Public Safety says the fatal victim was from Sturgis. They did not release his name.
They say his car pulled into the path of a pickup truck occupied by four Howe, Indiana residents at the intersection of South Nottawa Street and Bogen Road.
The pickup truck rolled over following the impact. The four occupants were taken to nearby hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
The Sturgis Department of Public Safety received assistance from the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department, the Tri-Township Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance.
