TUNIS (Reuters) – A Tunisian court on Monday sentenced four potential candidates for presidential election to eight months in prison and banned them from presidential election on a charge of vote buying, politicians and lawyers told Reuters.
They said the decision was issued against the prominent politician Abdel Latif Mekki, activist Nizar Chaari, Judge Mourad Masmoudi and candidate Adel Dou.
