BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The six millage questions on Tuesday’s Primary ballot in Branch County all passed including five year operating millage renewals for both the Branch County Commission on Aging and the Branch Area Transit Authority.
The Commission on Aging request passed 4,267 to 1,803 while voters said yes to the B.A.T.A. request 3,533 to 2,514.
A six year millage proposal for fire equipment and protection in Batavia Township was passed 190 to 51.
In Union Township, voters renewed one mill for cemetery maintenance and fire protection by a vote of 361 to 114.
Quincy Community Schools residents approved an 18-mill operating millage renewal 805 to 481.
Voters in the Litchfield School District, which includes Butler Township, renewed a sinking fund millage for five years.
