BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – After romping to a convincing win in the Republican Primary for the 35th District State House seat on Tuesday, Jennifer Wortz is reflecting on a grueling campaign which covered two counties.
Wortz said she will never criticize anyone that runs for office.
She says she wants to represent parental rights.
Wortz collected 52 percent of the vote as she defeated Hillsdale Mayor Adam Stockford and Branch County Commissioner Tom Matthew.
She will face Democrat Don Hicks in the November General Election. He was unopposed in Tuesday’s Primary.
